Like a good mystery?

How about a rather sexy occult thriller? And how would you like to read it for absolutely free? The author Cliff Burns has his latest novel posted in PDF format on his site, for download. Here's the blurb:
So Dark the Night is, by turns, funny, sexy, terrifying. It is an homage to cult film, TV and books, a bizarre fusion of Raymond Chandler, H.P. Lovecraft and Val Lewton.
I'm about 20 pages into it. The writing is excellent, addictive. Please drop by his site and give it a gander.

Very gracious of you to plug my novel. SO DARK THE NIGHT was published electronically not because it's an amateur book, a bad book, but because with niche marketing and brain dead editors it's almost impossible for even someone with my credentials to get a fair shake in the book industry. So I decided to turn matters over to readers and accept their verdict on SO DARK THE NIGHT. So far, everyone loves it, which justifies all those years of work...but saddens and angers me as well because editors and agents are too stupid to recognize a good thing when they see it.

You're very welcome, Cliff.

It deserves a readership. It's exceptionally good. I'm about 3/4 of the way through and shirking work to finish it.

Hugs,

rg
