I cry every time you do this. It makes my writing feel so inept. Standing ovation once again.
I read this over and over, Rgrl, and every time I’m comfortable until I hit that word “burlesque,” and then *I* feel exposed somehow. Beautiful, fearless, simple and complex and once.
The exposure of one person’s flaws and scars facilitates the healing of another’s wounds? In any event, it’s a wonderful poem.
I value those flaws in others as well, thanks for finding words for that. Stunning.
Shedding the outside layers, skin after skin until one is exposed in all their raw glory. Exquisite xx
Wow, thats a tingler! Hard to put my reaction into words because its mostly physical. Dashes off to goog cicatrix.
This piece is like an arrow, a dart of sexiness. Its even shaped that way. Thrillin.

It’s like a “bad romance”, oh I know you cringe at the thought but that’s exactly what the song is about, loving someone for everything, all the scars and all the darkness. It’s meant as a compliment my dear. Brilliant work.
