I liked this piece…though I think in fact God does take more delight in His creation than He seats the small stuff…what good if we are all ‘good’ if we don’t care if God exists or not? I definitely agree that we tend to ‘create God in our own image’…far better to remember we are made in His…and think on how we will respond to that.

Nice and simple and insightful. This reminds me Rilke’s “You, neighbour God,” in its gentle (if tough-talking) attitude toward a divine that we tend to create in our own image.
