I am totally lacking in grace when in comes to accepting compliments. I’m at a loss as to how to respond appropriately. However, I can’t let this particular compliment go unacknowledged; it would be simply unforgivable to let it go. Will Crimson (RedBud) has written a story called ‘Hurt Me Good‘, which he says was inspired by my short piece, ‘What You Want’. Here’s an excerpt: … I turn over. “Give me a smoke.” He taps out a cigarette and lights it with his own. “Bring it over,” I say. “Come get it,” he says. “Bring it over. My ass is sore.” He likes that. I can see it in the crook of his lips. He likes that a lot. So he brings it over. I didn’t need a fucking cigarette. I just wanted to find out. He’s hard. “You don’t need to live like this,” he says, giving me the cigarette along with the one thing no woman wants from a man: advice. “That’s rich coming from you,” I say. … Hurt Me Good, by William Crimson I know it would be polite to say that it’s a good piece of writing. The fact is, it IS a good [...]

Some of you may remember that a while back I posted a piece of flash fiction called Three Kisses. Mols Erotica (you can follow on twitter @mols_erotica ) has offered one more. Read more of Mols on his/her site at http://www.myownlovestory.com I trapped you, in a deathly game of cat and mouse… My tongue leading the way from the depths of your lustily emanating mouth to the heat swelters of my orifice. You stalked – no, forced – your way inside intent on exploring the naughtiness of my inner being until you found it. Yes, you found the hunger that I stole from your sugar smitten lips and had buried as treasure. You excavated, hacked, and bit into me… releasing the juices of lust that would never be returned to me – not on this venture – and you swallowed. My love, my heart, my lust…they were all held captive as they gave in and slid down your throat.

My name is Kitty Thomas and I write what I classify as “dark literary erotica.” I appreciate Remittance Girl giving me the opportunity to talk a little about my recently released ebook, Comfort Food. Comfort Food is told in first person and is about a woman who is taken prisoner by a very wealthy and attractive man who keeps her locked in a bare cell. As the book takes shape and she begins to get some kind of sense about her captor, the most upsetting part for her is that he won’t speak to her, and then later, that he won’t touch her. She shouldn’t want him to touch her, but she does. Human beings are social animals, women especially so. Emily Vargas more than most women. The man who has taken her can’t be classed as a hero, but some readers won’t want to class him a villain either. He’s obviously amoral but there are things about him which keep him from slipping all the way into monster territory. He doesn’t beat or physically harm her. He doesn’t starve her. He doesn’t rape her. He instead uses her need for communication against her to coerce her and shape her [...]

Today I have the pleasure to be able to offer you a story from M. Christian’s Coming Together Anthology. This is an amazing example of a good erotica writer’s range: his is incredible. Last Tango in Paris, Texas By M. Christian You know the El Rio? Down on Cortez? Well, I’m not surprised; I’d be surprised if you did. It’s not exactly what you’d call a memorable ‘establishment’. Nothing, really, but a cinder block bunker in the middle of a red-dust parking lot. Hell, you wouldn’t even know it was a bar except for the pieces of neon in the black, narrow strip of window. It didn’t even say ‘El Rio’ anymore — so maybe you know the ‘E___io?’ down on Cortez? Whatever. It was the dive of dives, the black hole of Paris, Texas; frequented, as far as I know, by alcoholic kangaroo rats and inebriated rattlers, or at least the two-legged equivalents. I do know that once a year, for two or three days, they hung a very tired rainbow flag in the doorway. I liked that a lot. I mean, as far as I know he wasn’t a fag (and don’t tell me a gal ran the [...]

Quite a while ago, I wrote a piece called Shellshock. It deals with loneliness, history and the way it haunts our present. DTS3204 (or Soldierboy, as I like to call him) found some resonance in the story. He’s a Vietnam vet. He has written parts of the same story, from a different point of view. The POV of the ghost. I love it. I hope you enjoy it too: Shellshock My Prespective If you have read a story that I’ve written that inspires you, please feel free to write something associated, or continuations. Not only do I think it’s the greatest of compliments as a writer, to inspire other pieces of work, but I think it’s essential to the evolution of literary culture. Just let me know.

It’s always very exciting to hear when a fellow erotica writer has been published and, if you have listened to the podcast of Click, then you’ve already met Monacle (Raziel Moore). You might consider getting to know him a little better by taking yourself over to Republica Press and purchasing his collection of stories: “Fantasies we dare not tell? They lurk under our beds. They hide in our closets. They wait behind barely open doors. Imagine one hundred short vignettes; scenes of sexual risk, entrapment, surrender and coercion meant to delightfully frighten and titillate. From the seducer to the seduced, from the hunter and the hunted, from the ravishing monsters you don’t dare mention, you cannot escape. From the shape-shifting world of dreams to the mundane turned upside-down, be ready to look under your bed, in your closet and behind every door. These are stories to read with a flashlight under the safety of your sheets. Some may be your dreams. Some will become your dreams. Explore the eroticism of the unexpected.” Nightmares and Visions

For those of you who participated in the ‘Slip of the Lip’ challenge, and for those of you who have read it, Jean Roberta has written a wonderful review of it up on the ERWA Blog. “A remarkable number of these short pieces look self-contained in the way that an acorn is a self-contained object that has potential to grow into a mighty oak tree. In several pieces, the kiss is an event or a goal in itself.” Having never acted as anthologist before, I can’t begin to say how proud I am. It was my first, but wonderful experience. I hope to have many more of them. Read the review HERE Download the e-book HERE
