Madden and Ann Regentin for inviting me to participate in their Good Parts erotica writing podcast on the subject of 1st and 3rd person POV in erotic writing. This is amazing threesome hosts a writing blog at http://thewritethreesome.blogspot.com/ and you can subscribe to their podcast at http://thegoodparts.libsyn.com/

This episode is quite wide-ranging but basically revolves around writing experiences with POV, and specifically deals with POV in erotica. Please give it a listen. I’m the one who sounds like a man. hehe. http://thegoodparts.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=532020

There is some very good advice on erotica POV http://erotica-readers.com/ERA/WR/Erotica_Writers_Room.htm

The majority of my writing is in 3rd person, perhaps because I feel I can paint on a broader canvas that way. That being said, stories like Beautiful Losers and Dark Garden are written in 1st person. If you have a browse through my archives and read a few, I’d be interested in knowing which POV you feel hits you more powerfully, and which ones give the best narrative experience. I’m not sure they are always one and the same thing.
