I admit it, I wanted her to pay attention to me, like she did with her *boys*. Someone had actually dubbed them the “Pride of Professor Gordon.” Six guys in all – young lions in the *pride*. Anyone from the zoology department might have pointed out that a pride usually consisted of a group of females and a single mature male lion. Anyone from the Arts Faculty would have countered that Professor Natalya Gordon did things differently. Theories on mammalian behaviour aside, I just wanted to be where the sun was shining, and the sun was always shining wherever the Professor and her cubs happened to sit themselves down.
