    This is gorgeous. But — but — I almost wish it had stopped at the first section. Because _that_ was something I’ve never seen before: erotica where somebody(ies) make an advance, have it rejected, take no for an answer and go contentedly on their way. And is sexy even though (because?) nothing happens.

    I love your description of Stephen’s face; I can almost always envision the women you write about more easily than the men, so this passage made the experience more full.

    The most erotic line in the story. Your attention to color, in all your stories, adds an extra layer of enjoyment. But the most erotic facet of your stories, RM, is the believability of your characters – their hesitation, overreach and surprise. Thanks for writing publicly.
