Monocle (Raziel Moore) took up the challenge of the same basic scenario and wrote a wonderfully raw and dystopic piece called “Vertical Hold”
Today Redbud (William Crimson) has added to the elevator meme with a lovely story called “Jacob’s Ladder“. Please take the time to savour it. It goes even further in exploring both the sterility and repetition of the quotidian life of little gray men and women – to wonderful effect.
