I have had such a GREAT day today and even got to take my clothes on and for once, lay back and let someone else take the pictures. I love the harsh graininess to this image and the way the curve of the branch in the foreground seems to be mirror the curve in my back.
This is one of those pics that you can just stare it for quite a while, taking in all of the imagery and admiring it all. There’s so much to reflect on. Lovely pic.
I’m so glad you’re reading the photo that way. I played with two modes. One of them voyeuristic, and one darker, and more about time and the ephemeral nature of women’s bodies in English Gothic literature.
I think more bloggers should make Molly the subject of their Sinful Sunday posts. We can’t get enough of her! Definitely a beautiful shot, though we should expect nothing less given the talented photographer and the stunning model.
Beautiful! Really lovely composition and the look on Molly’s face is intriguing. Love the different skintones you’ve captured on her body as well. Skin under sunlight seems to contain so many colours sometimes – here the yellow light has really brought out the violet tones in the shadows on her skin. The violets, pinks and blues form a lovely contrast with the bright yellow/greens of the background. 🙂
Brand did a series of (female) nudes on the Sussex coast in the early 1950s, in the area between Cuckmere Haven and Birling Gap. One in particular has the lower half of the model, lying on her left side, face away from the camera; her buttocks loom large. The Seven Sisters are in the background, rather out of focus. The beach is shingle—well, large smooth pebbles, and I imagine it was very uncomfortable to lie on. This was the image that your photograph immediately called to mind.
When I looked at the image, I had to scroll back up and see whose site I was on. I knew that was Molly. Such a lovely capture of a gorgeous women. Well done.
This is absolutely a blow-up, frame, and hang in the living room above the sofa kind of photo. The composition (and the subject) are stunning. It looks like a modern pre-raphaelite painting. Love it!
Oh, wow. Love the setting – and the way Molly is right in the jaws of that dark tree. It’s like it’s about to gobble her up. Fantastic parallel with the graveyard beyond. Jane xxx
And a great body it is! You look so lovely and relaxed!
This is a wonderful image of Molly. Love the green colours in the capture really adds to it!

What a lovely picture of Molly. She looks so relaxed and the graininess is raw and voyueristic (sp?). Fantastic.

I really love how this image is framed. It’s gritty, which compliments the location. Molly, looks lovely as always! Well done!
Looking at the photograph, I immediately thought of Bill Brandt. Did you have him in mind?
I have no idea who he is. But I’ll google.

Your photos always have dimension and knowledge base to them.
She looks like she belongs there, that she is a part of the place.
Stunning! I love how voyeuristic this feels as well as feeling so peaceful and relaxed.
