Rose Caraway invited me to a long, rambling conversation on erotica, eroticism, and the concept of consent at her ‘Sexy Librarian Podcast’. Her outstanding podcast is also available at iTunes.
Rose is one of those very rare people who have an almost overwhelming generosity of spirit for the craft of others. She reminds me that this is something I need to aspire to and work a lot harder on.
Meanwhile, check out all her writing and her wonderfully produced readings. They’re so fun.
Thank you so much, Remittance Girl, for spending time with me over at the podcast. It truly was a treat to have you there. Helping readers and writers unlock their brains is so essential if we are to grow, and I can’t help but love to be a part of that multi-layered process.

Thank you Rose & RG for the time, thought, and effort you put into this discussion, it was very enjoyable. I so admire R.G for her uncompromising commitment to her writing craft. She sees there are loftier goals than mere money or commercial success, (not that she couldn’t find those things with her writing) but I think she finds security in knowing that her body of work has the strength to stand alone as a testament to her validity as a writer. As one of her readers, I hunger for much of the yet to be completed work. I often feel like a glutton at the dinner table devouring course upon course, banging on the table crying, “More, bring me more, there must be more!”
The wallet illustration concerning safeguards and courting trouble was interesting.
Finally, I must say to my chagrin, that the Brazilian waxing comments caused a smile and the blood to pump just a slight bit faster.
Thank you again.
